Providing these classes assists staff to improve concentration, gain greater clarity of mind, make better decisions and improve personal productivity as well as achieve a broad sense of health and wellbeing. The classes can be done almost anywhere (boardroom, lunchroom, outdoors with a wet weather backup), and everyone of all different fitness levels and ages can participate.

Sessions can include:

  • Recent research findings
  • How to effectively manage stress & build resilience through relaxation & mindfulness techniques
  • Talk about attitude/positivity/awareness and the mind/body connection
  • How to deal with the mind and negative emotions
  • Yoga Nidra – one of the deepest states of relaxation
  • Optimal posture and light stretches (which don't have them sweat or need to be in gear other than their work clothes)
  • Simple, practical breathing and meditation exercises
  • Discussion about obstacles to meditation
  • Further meditation practice
  • Questions & discussion

We recommend an initial term of 8 weekly sessions.
